+This table aims to show in more details the important massage precautions and contraindications. In particular, it aims to give some basic explanations as to why massage is to be avoided or applied with cautions when certain conditions are present. Indeed, we find this information to be often missing (the message is usually limited to "don't do this don't do that" without further explanation) and this we believe represents missed opportunities for learning about the body systems, and for autonomy in practice. We hope this table helps.
