-Care brings people closer and that is part of how/why it is so good, but it is also why it should not be considered trivial. Hence, offering care to someone implies being mindful of their current psychological and physical health, and discussing together how the care session can affect them positively or negatively, as well as the community. When vulnerabilities or threats to well-being have been identified or are suspected, partners-in-care will ponder what the benefits and risks could be for each other for their well-being should they choose to proceed with their care session anyway, and for the community around them.

-**NOTICE (IN PROGRESS) - COVID19** :
-
-  * In the context of the Covid19 pandemic, health risks are identified //and// there also remain many uncertainties, inviting us to exert caution. Massages bring people in close physical contact, and many massages exchanged can facilitate cross-contamination between them, even with strong hygiene - which, like security, is never absolute or perfect.
-  * FYI, during these times of Covid-19 pandemic and according to sanitary measures and lockdown in many regions of the world, professional massage practitioners have suspended their activities.
-  * In terms of best practices in the privacy of interpersonal relationships, some massage practitionners have decided not to practice massage at all, while others have found that is reasonable to still share massages, but only with a few persons with whom one is already living -provided both partners are in good health AND no one is identified as vulnerable.
-  * There is a consensus in the field that massages (especially in the region of the head and face) should be totally avoided if either partner is identified as more at risk of developing a serious illness in the event of catching the coronavirus (elderly, for example) / is feeling poorly at the time of massage / is sneezing or coughing - whether or not they have a fever. Another recommendation, valid at all times, is that both partners in massage be wearing clean clothes for the massage, not clothes that have been outside. And of course, it's best to wash hands and forearms thoroughly before and after the massage.
-  * Examining contra-indications and health precautions prior to massage is of course still valid, as usual.
